Terrain Survey
An accurate and up to date Topographical survey is a vital link in the Project design process.
We can provide topographical surveys for a wide variety of clients both locally and nation wide. At present we can usually start and finish complete a survey within 5 days of survey of commission. Our Topographical surveys are carried out to RICS standard and also tailored to meet each individual client’s specific needs.
CDS use 1-man Robotic Total Stations & GPS equipment, As long as lone working can be covered within our risk assessment. A single man operation allows us to keep costs low and pass the savings onto our customers.
All of the surveys carried out by CDS are related to Ordnance Survey datum & National Grid unless specifically requested otherwise. This simplifies the relationship between different data sets by using the nation standard. This also leaves the survey easy extendable at any time.
Data Presentation
We provide data in a number of standard formats such as dwg, dxf, dwl genio, pdf, csv and xyz (text). Our standard issue is dwg, pdf and hard copies however there is no extra charge for additional data sets.
Project Management
In addition to single sites we are able to cope with multi site survey projects on a national scale. Our personnel have extensive experience in this field, managing the delivery ourselves, allows the client to focus on other areas of his Project.
